Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Our company started working with Turnkey Auto Group as an affiliate. They provide a free open-source dialer and fill it with garbage, out of date, beatup data that we had to hire dozens of people to screen through. Dispite following their business model to the letter, we still hemmorraged money each week waiting for our commissions to trickle in.

We had no contact with our clients and were unable to prevent the 45% cancellation rate, undoubtedly due to the horrible customer service provided by TAG. They then CHRAGED us for clients that cancelled, which was no where in their contract. We decided to do some checking on the key people at "TAG" and found that they've built their foundation with swindlers that have a history of tricking people out of money. We decided to distance ourselves from TAG immediately. They said they'd keep our future commissions, but we rather lose money than risk going down with them, as we feel its inevitable.

We'd like to warn both consumers and other companies that TAG contacts to be weary of their very smooth and convincing pitch. If it seems too good to be true, just do a few Google searches and you'll find it's a scam. A major redflag was a comment their Vice President, Anthony Pulieri, made in a sales meeting to our floor when describing how to find a "buyer"... "don't bother with the young guy that's making $250k and driving a porsche in long island... he's too savvy, he isn't a buyer... but when I get a 72 yearold woman in oklahama who's recently widowed, my D*** gets hard...

she's got some money from her husbands life insurance, she's got no body to talk to, nobody to tell her not to do it.. and now i can play on her fears... ask her who's going to fix the car if something goes wrong... paint her a hypothetical nightmare, and make yourself her knight in shining armour. then the only thing to worry about is getting her [credit] card!" I won't go into detail about the spotty history of each member of their team, but you should look up their leader, Anthony Pulieri, and his interesting past and why he's nolonger in commodities.

Companies like this are the most dangerous because they have a team of very strong and convincing salesmen spinning their web of lies for anyone unfortunate enough to listen. They strong us along for months before we were prompted to do some digging after all the redflags and inconsistencies.

You don't have to take my word for it, I encourage you to come to your own conclusions. But a company that lies about their compensation average, hides fees, makes up rules not disclosed in writing, has almost half of their clients drop out, loses affiliates left and right, and considers an lonely elderly widow a prime target to prey upon is a company I prefer to avoid at all costs.

I've been working for TAG's Detroit office for three weeks and Friday July31st was our scheduled pay day. The work day is 12 until 7pm. The on site manager informed us at 6:30pm that we weren't going to be recieving any checks until Monday. As the disgust grew in the office we also uncovered that the lease is expired on our office space and that the corporate team were on the way to empty the office. I have never had this happen to me or anyone I know. I need help on what to do next.

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Tue, July 22, 2014

“Kunglow” is a name actually made up by Daniel John Wise.  Mr. Wise was the principal of a contracted Independent sales affiliate of Turnkey located in Lake Worth FL that was terminated within 3 months after becoming an affiliate.  He is not a dissatisfied customer. He is however a bitter failed “businessman” who blames Turnkey rather than himself for his company’s business failure.

Thankfully, Turnkey and it's over 300 employees as well as our other 22 current independent affiliate branches do not share his problem.

The phrase “A bad carpenter always blames his tools” is emblematic of Mr. Wise.

Our business model requires that the business owner hire and follow our strict guidelines to train an effective and diligent sales team and be sure it is properly supervised.  The “data” we provide is a sales tool that is used effective by Turnkey and its affiliates every day.  A 45% cancellation rate is not “undoubtedly due to the horrible customer service provided by TAG” as mentioned in this Ripoff Report. The only way that a cancel rate could be near that level is by not following Turnkey’s proven training and direction that all of  our representatives follow. The fact of the matter is that it was due to bad sales practices by Mr. Wise’s sales team and nothing else. All of our other Affiliates average a cancel rate that is nearly half that of what Mr. Wise was operating at for the very “brief” time it operated.

Notwithstanding, after Mr. Wise closed his business for several weeks against our specific direction we discovered that he had pled “Guilty” to a Federal charge of conspiracy in relation to the operation of a “pill mill” in Georgia. See, http://www.justice.gov/dea/divisions/atl/2014/atl012314.shtm.  It then became apparent our relationship had to come to an end.

After all of this Mr. Wise was carefully explained that TAG was holding in reserve his last commissions receivable to refund any and all customers that should cancel pending the outcome of the service contracts sold.  A 45% cancellation rate puts Turnkey in an untenable extremely vulnerable financial position if that historical rate is consistent with his outstanding contracts.  Knowing what we came to know should we expect anything better?

The internet can be a great tool but one must always consider the source!

Turnkey is proudly one of only 12 certified members of the VPA, an organization that has a sole purpose to protect all consumers who purchase vehicle service contracts. Turnkey is also an accredited member of the BBB and holds insurance licenses in every state in the United States as well as DC. I personally also hold several insurance licenses in every single state as well along with several other licenses that have taken a long time and a lot of hard work to obtain.

We have been hesitant to give attention to or respond to this vicious slander that Mr. Wise and his associates have posted on this site. However, as with any successful organization we will go to NO LIMIT to defend our impeccable reputation that has taken us years to build.

Sincerely,

William Burns
