You don't have a lot of dates in this. But from how you have written this it appears that you bought the car and at a later time went to Alcoa to get the loan. Which unless they let you do some sort of "spot" delivery they are not going to let you take the car without financing in place.
If you bought the car on 7/24 when did you contact Alcoa and get approved for the loan.
The other questions is when you signed all of the paperwork what was the bank listed on the documents?

Unless you applied for a loan with 5th 3rd, they can't make you use them. Even then you don't have to use them until you actually buy the car with them on the contract.
They don't want you to use your own financing because they don't get any money from it.
Stick to your guns and don't let them badger you into anything. If they want to sell you a car they will eventually agree to your financing.
I NEVER use a dealers financing arrangement.
Just keep saying no, if they don't agree, walk to another dealer. There are lots of them willing to sell you a car, some won't even try to play stupid dealer games with you.
