 The move from Springfield, IL to St. Louis, MO amount was $1117.25. The 2 men damaged the door frame and put a hole in the door. I was immediatlely told that they would fill out a claim for getting reimbursed. Upon completion of the move, I was them told that I was responsible for pics and filling out a claim form. After looking through my signed paperwork, the movers never left me a claim form to fill out. The same day at approximately 8pm I received an unprofessional text message from the mover by the name of Leslie. I then received another disturbing text at 11:30pm. It totally freaked me out, not only did they damage the door but they damaged the side rails of my platform bed, they scrapped the wood off my dining table and punctured a hole on my leather dining chair A stop payment was made on the disastrous move. I spoke to the Manager and he said that he would do nothing about the violation of my privacy. He also told me that they was not going to reimburse me for payment. He said that he would have someone to come and fix the damages...which is impossible because the items were severely damaged. The manager said that he wasn't doing any thing until I paid him. He threatened to send this matter to collections. There is no price value for my privacy being violated. I also feel like I should be penalized on my credit report because of the damages that were done. This company had no intent to reimburse me for damages. I'm not paying for the incompetence of this company, however I am paying for the lost of my privacy being violated because now I have to feel out a police report for the mover/creeper that made unwanted comments about me sleeping in my bed through his text messages.
