Much like the Other reports here I too found them on the Internet via Search Engines showing them to pretty much consistantly have the lowest prices for TYC Brand replacement parts. TYC is a very large company that manufactures many replacement and "Crash" parts for nearly every major make and model of fairly modern and popular cars and light trucks. I was shopping for a Electric Fan and Fan Shroud along with a driver's side fog light since my original was getting filled with water and non functional, for my 2000 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado, 4.0 in-line six cylinder engine.

At first they sat for nearly a week or more with my order "Pending" all while it was summer hot out and I really needed my components to keep the nice new engine in my Jeep Cool. I still had the secondary mechanic belt drive fan with fan clutch which was alright for normal driving without the AC on and at highway speeds as Ram Air then moved enough air through the condensor and radiator cores, but for day to day suburban and city driving that secondary low RPM release mechanical clutch just doesn't cut and all smart Jeep folks know this, as the E Fan is there for a very well designed and necessary reason.

So finally the Took My Money from my Credit Union Visa card and then I waited and waited for my parts to arrive. I was actually only needing the Shroud long term as I was able to get Chrysler to honor an old recall notice on these defective E Fans which started my need for all of these parts including a new Radiator from another Mail Order Vendor (JC Whitney who was very good about the radiator, including sending me a second one on my word only that it arrived damaged, never even asking for the first one back mind you!) as the original OEM Fan had literally shattered and flew apart taking out itself, my radiator cores and small pieces of my shroud including sending one small piece like a Bee Bee right through the top leaving a "Hanging Chad" for lack of a better term still hanging on by a thread or two of plastic.

So I my appointment with the local MOPAR Jeep dealer came and I had them install the new Recall Replacement Fan on the old imperfect but still half OK and sort of solid enough Fan Shroud. After about two weeks I start emailing and calling as the other folks here talk about. It's absolutely true that these people are Crooks who seem to very Intentionally Ignore Any and All Emails about missing orders and put people on hold for amazingly long periods of time. I have a small business with an extra line or two so I called and put the thing on speaker a couple of times watching the phone tick away the minutes and more... Sometimes I hung up other times I got cut off but as the first person said 20 mintues to an hour or more for sure... I even called back on another line once or twice only to have one or both lines calls mysteriously dropped at nearly the same time!!! I kid you not! These folks are professional scammers for sure. And you really do have to wonder what kind of person it takes to be able to do these kinds of inappropriate acts of literally helping a company steal from other working and middle class folks but that's for another day.

Finally I would like to say that I think it is interesting and now in hindsight suspious that this "Company" consistantly seems to have the best price on these TYC Brand Parts. This is a separate entity from the actual Manufacturer of the parts themselves but they are clearly using the Manufacturer's well known and decent name to help suck and sucker people in via Search Engine Results. Their lower prices combined with using TYC's name as part of their own name (which I have seen Chrysler go after mag's and vendors simply for using Mopar as part of their name for publication or business) and you've got to wonder at what point is TYC going to get on these guys and make them give up the name if not even stop dealing with them for ruining their decent name in the aftermarket and Crash Parts part of the business.

On that I would strongly urge my fellow upset ripped off consumers of this terrible and ethically challenged "company" to call and write perhaps more than once to the main headquarters of TYC themselves and let them know just how much these folks are dirtying up their name and misrepresenting their brand and corporation, perhaps even leading to many lost sales here in the states. If I didn't know any better after this kind of experience I would certainly steer away from anything that spoke of the TYC in its name...

I believe their in Illinois so perhaps putting up a stink with the AG of their particular state who has stronger juristiction over them might finally shake these people up enough to close-up shop or start to fly right at least... Who knows.

Anyway, do yourself a HUGE FAVOR and as many others here have already said before me:

STAY THE HECK AWAY FROM THESE NASTY CROOKS if you know what's good for yourself and your money!
