Tyler and Travis Kay at Security Networks False Representation of Sales Denver, Colorado
Tyler and Travis Kay at Security Networks came to my home and told myself and my spouse that their company was taking over our current contract with Pinnacle Security and that they would upgrade our current system as the old system was being phased out.
They clearly stated that as they were the same company. The old system was removed and the new system was installed. Two months later, I noticed I was being automatically withdrawn from my account by both Pinnacle and Security Networks.
When I contacted Pinnacle they informed me that they were NOT the same company and that they had no idea what I was talking about. I contacted Security Networks customer service and they told me that I had to cancel and that they did not have the ability to cancel an account with another company.
Security Networks told me that they would 'buy out' the contract with Pinnacle if I sent them a final bill.
Pinnacle continued to hit my account while I waited for the final bill in the mail. (They refused to send a bill over email). 8 phone calls and a month and a half later I received the final bill from Pinnacle.
I sent the bill to Security Networks as requested, along with copies of my bank statements showing the withdrawals from my account so that they could reimburse me for the duplicate billing. I contacted my sales rep, Tyler Kay, whom ignored all of my calls.
Weeks later I was able to get an email from Neal Maligno in the billing department at Security Networks who said he was looking into it. Again with the run around.
After another week passed I contacted Neal again who said he forwarded the info on to his supervisor.
I called Tyler Kay again, who said his phone was 'broken' and this was the first time he was hearing of it. He said he needed another updated final bill as the amount had changed. The bill amount had changed because I was being automatically billed each month. I told him I needed to talk to a supervisor which ended up being his brother, Travis Kay. Travis gave me the same response and said it would be cleared with a final bill.
When I contacted Pinnacle again, they told me that they had sent the account to a law firm for collections.
It is not the security company nor their monitoring system whom I have an issue with. It is Tyler Kay and his brother Travis Kay whom stated that they were taking over Pinnacle's account and now I am responsible for the remaining contract and I've lost time and money and I'm at risk for getting my credit affected because two brothers are scamming people for commission.
Please help me in stopping this from happening to others and help me to clear the situation with Pinnacle as Security Networks should stand by what they said they would do.
How is it legally possible to have two monitoring services at the same time?
