UAC Moving Company deceitful, deceptive trade practices, rude, unprofessional, liars Tamarac Florida
I was looking for a local moving company to do a small moving job so I searched google and found 4 companies. I called them all and the last one posed as a moving company and instead gave my phone number and email address to a rediculous amount of moving companies, none of which were local, all contacting me by phone and email. I called the company back, UAC and inquired if they did in fact give out my information and the first young lady that answered the telephone lied to me and said they were the actual moving company so I questioned her as to why as soon as I gave her my information did I start getting phone calls and emails from companies that I did not contact and she hung up on me. I called back and the calls went unanswered. I called again and spoke to a different young lady and she was extremely rude. I told them to remove me from any and all mailing lists and notified them that they were prohibited in giving out my contact info and email address and she laughed and hung up on me. Now my email is blowing up with solicitations and my phone is ringing off the hook with every moving company you could imagine. This is rediculous. Companies like this should identify themselves and ask permission before releasing personal information in bulk and the companies that are paying for these referrals should get their money back!!!
