I have worked for Ultimate Business Services for 7 to 8 months. That company is asolutely unorganized and disfunctional. The human resources department consists of about 6 people and only 1 customer service represtentative. The sales department is a joke. They had closed and reopend their inside sales department countless times. The inside sales department is considered "appointment setters" not sales. Their job is the call businesses and set an appointment with an outside sales representative for a "meet & greet" if the appointment setters set a certain amount of appointments a week and they are "qualified appointments" they get commission on top of their base which no matter
how many you get they end up not being qualifed or they don't give you your deserved commission and any employee that used to work they in the position can say the same. If you don't make the right number of appointments that week they either send you home or you get fired. On top of it all the leads they have are old used up leads which they have the appt setters call repeatively even though some of the businesses asked to be put on the do not call list. They do not pay their employees how they should and set them up to fail. They use their employees and then get rid of them.
The outside sales department is even more screwed up. They don't receive any proper training and expect them to make demos and sales to the same locations that previous employees have been to. And after a week if you don't make your demos or sales they fire you and the commission you are suppose to get disappears. Their product is also not as great as they make it seem. Their machines continuosly break and always run out of supplies. As far as savings, it really is not a savings that you would be getting from this company. They also do everything by contracts which is how they get you.
For a "local company" they don't stock their product at the businesses as they should and are always having problems with their clients. This company has no professional mind set either. The "managers" that they had would only hire "young women with good looks and a body" and constantly be uncomfortably looked out by them. There is also no comunication between any of the departments ecpecially the boss which is never in the office. There is also no room for advancement and the company suprisingly is still running which is because after a few years the change their name. They used to be called Ultimate Water and before that they were called another name. For many reasons from the view of an employee and a customer, this company should absolutely not be in business!
