Ultralife PM ripoff, FRAUD, DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT BILLING, RUDE South Jordan Utah
I fell trap to the "its free, so try it for 30 days" line..... I paid the shipping fee $4.95 which the product only cost $1.70 to ship to me but I figured it wasn't a big deal. Then I recieved the product. I started taking them and the very next day I broke out in HIVES from head to toe. OK that is not the company's fault-but I cancelled my membership because I obviously can not use their product.
I sent two (2) emails through there website and placed several calls to the number that came with the pills 800-757-1279. I was unable to get to a live person and all of the mailbox's that I could get to were full, so I was redirected to a "general" mailbox and left messages to cancel my order immidiately!!! A few weeks go by and I was checking my credit card activity when I noticed a charge for $44.90 for Ultralife PM on my card. I called the company and could'nt get anybody or leave a message.
So I requested the fraudulent charge forms from my credit card company-they informed me it will take 30-90 days to investigate the charge. I also spoke to a lawyer, he advised me to attempt contact with the company as soon as possible. I did and when I spoke to them today 07/26/2005 Candace informed me they DO NOT give money back, I then requested to speak to a supervisor, Candace retorted with "I am the supervisor", I then stated I wanted to speak to someone other than her-she kept trying to hang up on me-I would'nt let her get off the phone with me. I requested their business license number she refused to give it to me-I kept insisting on getting the number-I was placed on hold for 20 minutes, then Tom gets on the line and proceeds to tell me that " He refuses to give me the license number or to resolve the problem. I should just go get a lawyer! " Then he hung up on me. I felt so mis-lead and treated with the utmost disrespect. Please America stop letting this company take advantage of us! If there are any lawyers that can offer there services please let me know.
