because there was no contest, there was no $45,000, and Unilever and Publishers Clearing House had nothing to do with it. This scam has been around for years, there are hundreds of reports on RoR to prove it. I'm betting the check they sent you didn't even have Unilever or Publishers Clearing House's name on it. A legitimate contest would have deducted the tax money from your winnings and paid it themselves. You've just learned a $2466.92 lesson, because the bank will want their money back too. Sorry, but as the old adage goes, 'If it's too good to be true, it probably is.'.
