To everyone that has been ripped off by unim-
I attened a seminar about 7 or 8 months ago, payed about $200 and I received a website (so I thought). Unim said they would not charge my account until my site was built... BUT they did anyways! I had no clue, until I was contacted by several people claiming to be from Unim and informed me that I had been being charged for my website for several months and I should start working on building my site since I was paying for it. One said that they could help me build my site and teach me how to market the site for a small investment of $7,000.
Well stupid me I went along with it because they said they could help me make at least $5,000.00 a month by my 6th month. Needless to say I have not made a DOLLAR since that day. I started realizing that they had taken most of my money avaliable on my credit cards, and the coach never taught me a thing. (I think the guys who sold me this mentor program are makeing all the money.)
After I realized that I had been taken, I contacted Unim, they pretty much said I paid for it, tough luck and its my fault that the business wasn't making any money. I cried for hours after I hung up the phone and figured out that I couldn't get my money back.
Well to make a long story short I talked to a friend of mine and he said to file a report with the Attorney General or the FTC(Federal Trade Commision.)And then I contacted Unim and told them that I filed a report, all of a sudden they had no problem to refund me my money. Hopefully if enough people do that then Unim will know how it feels to get taken advantage of!!!!
