Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Unique Worldwide services makes alot of promises and they never come through. They promise you $15 hour, but you'll never see it! They also promise you an office of your own choosing, in the location of your own choice, but you'll never get it! I went through their whole training program.

I finished the entire program only to be dumped for no reason. No office, no pay! And, I only recieved half of my signing bonus! This is a cheap, cheap company! They use people to sell their products, then after they bleed you of all the sales you can make then they let you go.

They even have a dead-beat file where they post your name if you don't make many sales! Many people never reach the end sales goal, but I did. They don't expect you to complete your training. So far they have offices is Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

They run their ad in all of these state newspapers with their false promises. And they are expanding. They intend to spread themselves west and north. Don't let them!I thought of filing a report with the equal employment opportunity but, I don't want to have to go into all the hooplah you have to go through. They have damaged me.

I wasted my time and money for them and wrecked my car while employed by them and what do I get? The same thing you will. It's not just me either, there are many people in this state who have suffered because of them.

I feel I should be compensated for my loss. Is there anything I can do? Can you help me, please. I've been trying for a month to come up with a solution and writing to them did no good. Please help if you can

Ex Manager Agrees Companies a Scam

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, September 18, 2002

I agree w/ John from Alabama. I was just stupid enough to actually go through it all and believe their false verbal comments. I was a manager for 4months, thats how long it took me to finally quit, cause I finally realized it was a scam the first month i was a Manager!....Everyone who is writing rebuttals about the company are either employees who have not realized it's a scam yet, or managers who have to say good things about it cause thats where their paycheck is coming from...the trainees. Mr McAdams and Mr Mingolo told me to tell my trainees that they would only have to sell $2000 and they would be done w/ their training...this is a complete lie! Everyone has to at least do 10K before they can even sit down at the corporate office to talk about an office! Then once you think you're finished they tell you that you have to give them 6K in cash before you get your office! Listen to me.....most of the stuff they tell you is not true....they tell us managers to say whatever they want to hear for the trainees to sell as much as possible. And the managers make only 10% off everything their trainees sell, which really isn't much at all! This co. is based on lies. This is why I quit, because the money is not worth all the crap you have to do, especially when i had one lady come in and tell me she had four children and a single mother and she paid her savings of $2000, (all that she had)to get an office, ... believing that she would make $48,000 like the ad said and that she would be through w/ training......and I told Mr Mingolo about her situation and he didn't even care and told me to tell her to get to $4000.00 and she would be through. And when I told him I couldn't tell her that when I knew it wasn't true, he said do you want to get paid?...and said tell her or let her go!!!!! There's no way I want to work for a scam artist like that! I cant believe they have as many trainees as they do anyway!.....if you dont believe me....look under the BBB, look up their law suits in Alabama and Georgia, and of course the ripoffreports! Im just glad I got out when I did!

I talked to these people and the first thing they asked was for me to bring $75.00 for a security background check. They said that was half it would cost but I know background checks only cost $40.00 (I was a manager somewhere else). Then when I got there and couldnt get a word in edge-wise they asked for this money then said in the next step I would be required to put up another $95.00 for the salesman kit. Listen, it doesnt matter how you say it, legitimate businesses do not ask potential employees to put up money to work for them unless they dont expect for that individual to stick around. All you employees who feel you are working for a good company please....please look around. Have you ever heard of Shetland Ponies or Emus or Ostritches? This is just another twist on the pyramid scheme that fails in the end. God, and to think, they are so brash as to use fire protection as their sales tools. God help us all.

Donald (Miss Cleo), It's amazing the telepathy that runs within UWSI. I'll bet it will come as a shock to you that two other UWSI shills rebutted on or about the same date as you. Doesn't the coincidence give ya'll chills!? I'm going to start calling you Miss Cleo! Here's the response I gave the two other shills just so you know that the readers are on to you: Dear Rick, Sandy and any other shills out there: You did a nice job shilling your company and yet neither one of you said anything about helping an unsatisfied customer. You only attacked that customer. You know...the same customer whose life you want to save--right, Sandy? UWSI wants to save lives? Maybe, that is the premise of the business. But a business is in business for one singular purpose--to make money. UWSI would not have to shill this page if they would only give a dissatisfied customer a refund. But no, money comes first--not the customer as Sandy proclaims. If Rick is correct and the customer has buyer remorse then so what? Give the person their money back! It's all about lives--right, Sandy? Not the money! Well, frankly I'm excited. Any day now I expect to see postings from UWSI customers who have received refunds. Thanks, Rick and Sandy. I expect to see results very shortly. The readers will expect to see these elated postings very shortly--since it is about the customer--right, Sandy?

I tried to send Donald Scoggins an e-mail to ask a few questions. He seems to be the main one filing rebuttals, but the e-mail address posted is invalid. Coincidence or Not?????

I would like to state that I trained to be an Office Manager for Unique Worldwide Services and completed the training and today I am an Office Manager in Cleveland Tennessee. I recieved my fifteen dollars an hour which was told to me. I am very satisfied to be working with this company as I had no management experience and they gave me a chance. The Regional Director and the President of the Company taught me a lot about management
and I am gratful to both of them.

I would like to say that the company has UPHELD everthing that was promised to me!!!

I am currently employed with Unique Worldwide Services, and I would like to say that the company has UPHELD everthing that was promised to me!!! Dont be mad at the company because you FAILED, be mad at YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!

This company gives you every oppertunity to excell but youn have to make yourself successful. As with any company they cant do the work for you, you cant be a deadbeat who expects everyone to hand you everything in life. There is and I'm proof that this company is GREAT, anyone who has Failed needs to look in the mirror instead of blaming the company... THERE'S YOUR FAILURE!!!!!

I once too was employed with unique world wide services...

I once too was employed with unique world wide services, but i find it very peculiar that a person could work for the company and then turn around and say such deceitful things about them. Not only did i receive everything that the company promised me i also picked my own office that the company paid all the expences. Start-up expences as well as monthly expences. I was compensated every penny of any monies owed to me. Truth of
the matter is that there are some people will fail and there are people who will succeed and no matter what the situation, you can't make everyone happy. Let the truth be told!! If you try something (anything) and it dosen't work out in your favor it is no reason to lie on all the company has ever done for you. Even if one doesn't utilize a position in the company to gain success, unique worldwide services has/can instill positive thinking, growth, knowledge one can utilize anywhere and become
successful.
