It was on November the 9th of 2006 at 9:21 a.m. that I recieved a call from the # 204-475-5341. They told me Congratulations and that I was entered into a sweepstakes and that I had a chance to win $25,000 and a bmw a diamond watch and on may 31, 2007 there was going to be another drawing for $100,000. They told me my verification # was c-208. Then this guy that I didnt get his name transfered me to his so called "supervisor".

She told me her name was Rebeca Thomas. That b***h had my credit card #. She said her employee# was 1195. She said she was going to give me a free diamond watch and 5 subscriptions to stupid magazines. And that they were free except for one of them. That dumb c**t said that, that one magazine was going to cost me $3.99 a week for 60 months. Stupid dike asked me for my credit card and I gave her the wrong one on purpose. She said that your not giving me the right #. And then I knew she already had it in her system. That w***e said she was going to split the payments up into months instead of weeks so that it would be 15 short monthly payments of $69.16. I laughed!

She transfered me to her "supervisor" lol to make sure everything was correct. I didnt get her named but she asked me for my permision to record this call. I said yes. She then began repeating everything that the other lady had told me. Then she told me my adress which I never gave them and said "is this your correct mailing address". I said yes. She then said can I get a phone # that I can reach you at in case you win. I gave her my cell # that they called me on. She said is there another # that I can get a hold of you on in case you lost or someone stole you cell phone. I told her no. She said it could be a friend or family member they dont even have to live with you. I said no. She then began to harass me more and more saying "you dont know anyone in the world....you dont have friends". I said no...I have e-mail. She said that wont work then I hung up on her. She imediatly called back and said "I think we are having conection problems". I said "I think we are having communication problems because I'm not interested". She tried to talk me back into it and I hung up again.

I dont know if they had billed my credit card or anything and I want to bring the ****suckers down! Help me!

Bill, you did a lot of 'hand waving' but OP had posted that: "...and 5 subscriptions to stupid magazines. And that they were free except for one of them. That dumb **** said that, that one magazine was going to cost me $3.99 a week for 60 months. " So Bill "...that one magazine was going to cost..." ummmm... $207 a year???? You NEVER TOLD US WHAT MAGAZINE IS WORTH $207/year...did you? Want to try again? Without the hand waving this time?

Bill, Here is the problem with the scam you are involved in. First, it is the misrepresentation [illegal, by the way] of the telemarketers involved in the statements that they are calling from the customers VISA/mastercard company, etc. Second, the company you work for, and that type in general collects a 5 year subscription fee from thousands of customers and then, a year or so down the road, closes up shop and disappears. It's called take the money and run. The magazine publishers get left holding the bag. Don't believe me? Contact the NV AG and the NV BBB for complaints against these operations. I personally know a guy who was running one and tried to do this, but his girlfreind rolled on him and he is doing 12 years in state prison right now. just as well, I never liked the guy anyway. I was freinds with the girlfreind. Telemarketing should be illegal. It is an invasion of privacy and is irritating. I pay for my phone and should have the legal right to determine how it is used. Marc, its best to never even have conversation with a telemarketer. Just blow the police whistle into the eardrums of the crackhead on the other end, and hang up. Register your number with the national Do Not call List at whocalled.us, and also file a complaint there that others can see.

well since ur the type to sit down and look at big picture.....we give our clients 6 diff mags a month...one of those is a weekly so comes 4 times a month...9 magazines @ 5 bux an issue(newstand rates) is 45 bux a month.....so if u buy those mags at the store u will pay average 45-50 bux a month every month for 60 months....which is around 3000 dollars for 5 yrs if u buy them every month for that long....with us u pay 26 payments of only 39.90,21 payments of 49.40, or 15 payments of 69.16...the total on that plan is only 1037, so u tell me that ur not saving this service applies more to the avid magazine buyers not the ppl who buy them once in awhile

$1037 is a LOT of money for a 5-year magazine subscription. What magazine is worth $207 per year? WHAT magazine is it, anyway? Consumer Reports costs me $26 a year. Smart Money is $18 to $23 per year depending on whom you deal with. BoatUS Magazine costs us $25 per year but other benefits including on-water towing for our boat are included. So tell us: What magazine is worth $207 per year?

first thing first as current employee... the only info we have on our customers is there name and phone number and we get that info from the major list brokers....we DONT have your credit card info...we can tell tho if u provide us with wrong info about your CC. The computer will simply tell us..invalid cc, lost/stolen, authorized, or decline...as anybody knows to make up a credit card out of your head is nearly impossible with an exact expir. date.... as far as payments go..it is 3.99 a week for 60 months...any company to bill customers 3.99 a week every week for 5 yrs would be insane...use a calculator dumb*ss...the total comes to 1037.00 we simply bill our clients 15 payments of 69.16, 21 payments of 49.90, or 26 payments of 39.90....the total is the same....rather then judging before you think...sit down n listen to what they have to say...
