I have been disabled over two years now. The only retirement money I had ran out a couple of months ago paying the deficit I had been in. I never had bad credit before or defaulted on anything until my present situation, no fault of my own. Since I have declared bankruptcy, United SA has prohibited my online banking usage. I am barely able to process mail due to my physical condition. I use the online banking to pay child support and items such as electricity and water. This is an extreme hardship for me to not be able to pay what bills I can online. I called United SA customer service and asked why I was locked out and they wouldn't tell me. Then I asked for a supervisor and talked to Lisa and requested in writing their decision to lock me out of my savings/checking account. She refused and would not give me a reason so I asked for her supervisor. She refused for me to talk to a supervisor and after more arguing said she would have somebody return my call within 24 hours. Guess who called me back today - Lisa. All she would tell me is because of their loss (backruptcy hasn't even been discharged yet) they won't let me use the account but she would not say what the reason was I couldn't use the account. This has and is causing me extreme stress and hardship. I had a heart attack on January 23, 2008. I haven't had medical insurance for over two years, I didn't even go to the emergency room after the attack because of the lack of money. I demand a call back from the President of Uniteds SA with what the reasons are I cannot use bill-pay to take care of basic sustenance items to exist. If I don't get access to the account, I will have no other option but to share this situation with the media, that is how Uniteds SA treats disabled people who have hit hards times, in order to hopefully save others from experiencing this kind of treatment. I have been a customer of United SA for 25 years. Hopefully others will steer clear from this company and their services, thank you.
