United Suppliers, Inc They Took My Money And DISAPPEARED!! Chicago Illinois
I saw an ad for a cdl truck driving job on career builder so I applied. the company called me back and instructed me to send them my resume and a $35.00 money order for a drug and background check. I was also told if I did not get the job they would refund the money. I was to be called by 5-18-08 and it is now July. Guess what no money I called their phone number no response. I tried to email them it would not go thru. I cannot even find them on the web any more. There is another United Suppliers out of Iowa that is not them because I called and they ship feed. This company was originally out of Indiana and they told me they were opening a hub in Chicago, IL and need CDL drivers. I just do not want anyone else to lose $35.00 and a bunch of time. I wish someone could locate them so I could get my money back. I know 35.00 is not much but when you are unemployed that is half a tank of gas. If anyone sees an ad for this company do not trust them. My wife called 5-15-08 and they told her they would be mailing out refunds the next week. When she spoke to the HR rep she told him his email was down. While he was on the phone he said let me check, Oh it is. The poof we never could reach them again. I believe this company is using a false name and scamming people for money. Imagine $35.00 from 100 people that is $ 3500.00 and if they were getting that for 1 week 100 people a day that is $24,500.00 per week. Someone need to stop them now.
