Up Front Movers will not show us our furniture and belongings.  They want us to pay by hour but they are holding our furniture and won't give us the address to go and get it.

My family relocated from CA to Wa state. My cargo was picked up and stored at the company facility with monthly payment to store until address and delivery time was known.I paid $1555.88 + CC% $77.2 and had to pay the balance 50% on delivery prior to unloading (as per contract). I called shipping company to deliver to the above address : 166 Bella Bella Dr,Fox Island on March 23rd and was given 2 weeks waiting time. When my cargo was picked up for delivery ( stored in CA) , the manager/ receptionist called me with request to pay extra $370 for getting through the Bridge (toll road). I objected and said that will check with the city about the fee. After I received weight limit confirmation- send it over to the company. The driver called me and said : that he will deliver as is and if there are any penalties, then it's on me. I agreed.

The day before delivery Driver called again about need to reload, as his truck 52' ( my goods were loaded in a small 16' truck in CA) can't get to the residence as is. I said deliver and I will pay, but will go to my Layer about that extra fee. Next day the smallest truck (rented locally)arrived and driver requested payment in cash with the balance + $500 extra for reloading.Truck couldn't have all my stuff as was 3 times smaller then my goods needed. Driver said that he has the balance in a bigger truck I counted money to him and before giving it to him asked  to show that he has my goods. Driver refused to show and said that he is leaving. That it's against a Law to show before payment. He called his manager, who confirmed that they do not need to show. It's my responsability to pay first. There were many calls from company about they wouldn't show my goods. I have our conversation with driver recorded(even he objected). My family was present. My daughter(who lives in the house tried to talk to them all). No results. They refused to show my goods (even there is no such conditions - not to show before payment in the contract- I checked). The load was reloaded in some facility. They sent me a new bill - another $700 and after my family requested to give the address: to pick up goods, pay all they requested , after checking that it's our belongings - company doesn't give us the address. The total delivery cost includes unloading, piano assambling. Now : no goods, need to pay extras without unloading and need to pay without confirmation that it’s our goods.
