Urban Nutrition - My Daily Dose Vitamin Scam, Fraudulent Marketing ripoff Hoboken New Jersey
Beware of Urban Nutrition Inc. I sent for a trial of their daily vitamin packs only to be charged for a monthly subscription. They alleged that, "You were participating in our Auto-shipment program and receiving discounted product from us on a monthly basis." $40 a month is not a discounted price for vitamins.
No one was available on the phone. The line says to leave a message which to date has not been answered. An email acknowledging my complaint included, "Cancellation Requested AFTER the Trial Period: If you submitted your request to cancel your Autoship Program after the initial Trial Period, we have already processed a monthly shipment and it is en route to you, or possibly you have already received the order. If you do not wish to keep this monthly supply, you may return it and exchange it for one of our other products. (Reminder: Autoshipments may be exchanged only)."
Clearly, they intend to steal your money by never disclosing the autoship and charging your account with no intent to exchange or refund the money. If they lie about the autoship, why would anyone want to consume their products?
I decided to follow their instructions -"If you would like to exchange this order, please return it to the address below and be sure to include a note telling us which product you would like in exchange. Upon receipt of your return we will immediately ship to you the product you requested for exchange at no expense to you. You can go to this website to view all of our fine products. www.urban-nutrition.com If you are not sure yet which product you would like, that.s ok! Just send your order back and we will post a Product Credit to your account . you may call or email any time to request your exchange."
Product was returned, they acknowledged receipt by email but no one is available on their phone line to discuss the matter. Never having established an "account" with them, how could they credit this account? A reputable business does not behave this way.
