In response to your letter here first off I'm sorry that you are having to going thru all this with US Fidelis. I am a former employee with the company and let me say you are not the only person that has gone thru what you're going thru now with them. I felt horrible after I figured out what they were doing was nothing more than scamming perople out of their money. They did pay some claims of corse over the few years they've been around but it takes an act of God to get them to do it.
I hope CNN or another major network does another story on them and tells people to cancel ASAP. The warranties are not worth the paper their written on. The customer service department is told to place people, who wish to cancel, on hold for as long as it takes to keep the policy alive. I was just a salesman and if I had access to all the people I sold these coverages to I would call them personally and let them know what a peice of crap policy they actually have. The company has closed it's doors and just filed Chapter 11 in St. Louis, MO.
If you know of anyone who has a policy with US Fidelis tell them to act fast because I'm sure the money they have set a side for refunds won't be around forever.....
