When I agreed to receive the subscription offered, I was very excited. Three months later I called the company to ask when I would be receiving any of the magazines. They assured me it would be soon, some of the mags that I ordered was not available, and subitutes will be supplied. Two weeks later mags did start to trickle in.

My original agreement was to pay monthly for one year on mags that I normally would not buy, then after a year I was to have an option to subscribe to any of them or decline altogether.

My year is about up and recently I became an owner of a computer / internet. Cirousity got the better of me and I looked my account up and found out that I was being subscribed for 3,4 &5 years of oweing!

On my next billing I did not pay and wrote cancel my account on it with my name and date and sent it back. I repeated this the following month as well.

This month I received a letter instead of a billing to contact them because they have failed to beable to reach me by phone. I have caller ID and they did not leave a message nor have they contacted my after work.

I called their office, got a recording telling me my account had a zero balance but I owed for a month's amount of money. I went to the web site and only found the rip off site instead. So I decided to write a complaint and to write to each mag. and cancel them directly. I will also ask them to send me a written notice of confirmation of the cancelation. I don't know what else to do.
