I thought I was through with all the rotteness of this company, then one day in the mail i got a bill for $100 for the drug test/physical they had given me during orientation;despite the fact that I'd had one just a few weeks earlier at driving school..then also found they had not paid me for days I was on truck in training; I called several times getting a runaround to several different people;and thought I was gonna be paid . then I started with another company,in which I made more in one week at than in 3 with USX; then while on the road I discovered they had not paid me for the lost days still because they couldnt determine if I was assigned on a truck those days;well even if not on a truck I was to be paid $30 a day..but nothing and same old run around of pushing responsibilty to someone else, even when they found proof that indeed they owed me.. I also decided to get the money off my driver card that was on there,I had waited 2 mos after leaving company because I had to get a transfund check etc;and they'd told me it would remain on there because it was my money; then when I got set to use it;the money was gone,it had been on there the day before! thats when I called and they told me it was takend toward the $100 for the drugtest and I still owed $35 which they'd send to a collection agency;and I thought they'd already taken it out of my direct deposit! All of what i went through with this company and they still never paid reimbursement for things they owed and when I told them;"i'm with a better company now!' she got very upset:'i dont wanna hear that!' I said 'well, the way I was treated there was horrible' and she still did not straighten out the pay issue. I had spoken with several others in management there who wanted me to write a formal complaint to them over all my bad experience;but I decided it is their job to find out what is wrong with the company practices and if they really cared I had already filed enough comments about my trainers throughout. Not only does US pay I believe the least during training, they pay even less if you have to wait for a trainer and also pay the least for orientation and only supply one very cheap lunch per day;where most companys supply 3 meals a day. It is obvious in everything they do,they do not care at all about the drivers as they say; they want everything done yesterday for them but your time means nothing to them;you are left waiting and hanging on the line for them.
