Okay- we had 159.95 stolen from our account and never gave them our information!!!! Here is all you need- call their number- 1800-685-9354, then call their "fraud department" which only consists of one person, at 1-800-447-1252, her name is jack-o-lin jospeh. Does it sound like a real name to you?

Anyway, we're calling the police and our news team here in fl.

USA Credit is NOT a rip-off

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sun, August 01, 2004

USA Credit is not a rip-off. I used to work there and have heard it all. I've been to the websites myself. (inc.usaplatinumcard.com or www.freecreditclub.com) You can see for yourself. There is a tab on both sites which explain to you that the card is not a visa or mastercard, it explains the fees, it also explains how and where the card is used. All you have to do is click and read. There is even a button that you have to click before the info you entered is submitted. If you don't click submit the only info forwarded is the name, address, and telephone number. Nothing more. The company is established to help people with their credit if they want to be helped. They issue a line of credit with no credit check. I've also been in the position when I received calls from customers (satisfied and un-satisfied). Some would say, "I didn't know this wasn't a visa-mastercard", or "I wasn't aware of any fees", and "I never authorized money to be drawn from my account." My response would be, "Did you read all of the terms and conditions before you submitted your application?" Most would say, "No, who reads all of the fine print anyway?!" That's what it's there for, so the customer can read and be informed. Also, you can apply over the phone with a live representative. You complete your application and you listen to a rep who explains the offer in detail and will answer questions. There was also a customer service dept. to call (toll free) who can answer any question you may have once you become a customer. Again, all you have to do is listen. If someone stole your identity, it would have been out of our hands. There was a dept to cantact at USA Credit about fraud and identity theft HIS name was Jaque Joseph.

In December, 2003, $149.95 was removed from our (my Daughters and mine) checking account. Because the name of the company was listed in our bank statement between several ATM and Debit transactions, we missed it. For three months, we saw small amounts of $9.95 being taken from our account from this company. At first, when we saw the small amounts, we thought it was a debit in order to carry our Visa Debit card. When I called the bank, they were not informative, and only stated that we could put a stop payment on the debit, which costs us $21. We were only able to get 2 of the $9.95 charges restored to our account. In the meantime, each month, when this money was withdrawn, it caused a chain reaction of checks bouncing at our bank. The bank was kind enough to point show us the $149.95 that was initially removed from our account, which we had NOT noticed, which started this whole ordeal. When we found out that someone had stole my Daughter's identity to make this transaction occur, as we had done it, we made a Police report with our small town local police department. Instead of being on our side, the Policeman tried to make US look like criminals. He called my Daughter four days after making the police report and asked her to come to the PD and turn in her bank statements. While she was there, he turned on his tape recorder and turned on a video camera and read her miranda rights to her, telling her that she was possibly going to be charged with filing a fraudulent police report, because this company checked out to be a legitamate business and that WE (my daughter and I) were the criminals! He let her come home, but told her that he may being arresting her at a later date!! We found a Criminal Attorney who stated that he would gladly take our case to keep us out of jail. We spent TWO HOURS with this lawyer, who sent a letter to USA CREDIT and asked for ALL information regarding this transaction, and also sent the company a letter that he was representing us. USA Credit sent all the information that they had to him. He also, while we were in his office, got on the net and found this site and looked at some of the reports that were found on this company. He also found some other sites with complaints about this company. He gathered enough information to keep us out of jail. After all of this, we feel totally sideswiped. This company accessed our information, and we don't know how. We have since downloaded a program called Spyhunter on our computer which pointed out several "parasites" rated as severe on our computer that take your personal information like names, addresses, and social security numbers if you go to other sites and put the info in (like when you prepare tax returns and it is saved in your cookies) and sends it to companies to use as they please. One of our computers was so infested with it, we couldn't get the stuff off and it has been in the shop for two months now. The other computer was totally reformatted and a firewall has been loaded on it. Our whole personal lives have been changed. We are afraid to leave our house in fear that we will be arrested. I am afraid to go to work as a Paramedic, because in this small community, the police and the Ambulance service are very close, and information about me will be exchanged. Several checks have bounced and we are paying them off one at a time. We have completely closed our checking account and have to rely on paying bills with cash and money orders now. OUr whole life as we used to know it is destroyed along with our reputations!!
