USA Photo Nation - usaphotonation.com Nikon D-80 Camera body Rip-off Internet
I am yet another victim of the Website based USAphotonation. I recently ordered the Nikon D-80 SLR camera from their website. They called me next day and, the representative told me that I needed to buy additional items, i.e. the battery and charger in order for the camera to work properly. I stated that I didn't want to buy a battery and charger, and he told me they didn't ship the order without it. The increase of the battery was $200.
After that he stated that the camera menu language comes in Japanese and If I wanted it to have it in English it will ad a "nine ninety nine" more. Then I asked for the total price including taxes. He play with names and numbers trying to confuse me, then I asked for a simple answer. Can you give me please the total price plus taxes? The answer was "ten eighty six". I asked: " Ten thousand and eighty six dollars"? He answered :"Yes" Then I said I didn't want it and he said it was already processed.
I called the credit card company and it was already charged, they're going to dispute this payment.
