Complaint Review: Valhalla Valley Farms - Mt. Pleasant Iowa

I completely disagree with the complaint! I bought my dog from Valhalla Valley in November of 2006. We could not imagine living without her! They were well taken care of and this place is as far from a "PUPPY MILL" that I have seen. Our dog is happy healthy and extremely smart! She is a first generation labradoodle and had brought nothing but joy to our lives. Don't ruin someone's reputation and other people's chance with such happiness if you don't have proof.

We purchased a Goldendoodle from Valhalla Valley Farms in August and have a happy, healthy dog. I have purchased many dogs from breeders that have farm set-ups and found Valhalla Valley Farms acceptable. Wrigley, our new puppy, was in a clean area with numerous fans and a radio playing. Other dogs were kept away from the litter and all seemed very healthy. I saw not sad or sick puppies or dogs. I have a friend who also got a dog from Jody and Brooke had has nothing but rave comments about them and the dog they purchased. I would highly recommend Valhalla Valley Farms and would purchase another dog from them. They were very accomedating to our needs and would send us updates after we had picked our puppy before bringing him home. I am not sure who "Linda" is, but I hope it is truely someone that has seen the operation........

We have been involved in more than one adoption of adorable puppies from Valhalla Valley Farms and they are extremely happy and very healthy dogs. I have been so happy that I offered to the owners to list me as a reference for new clients who are interested in getting a puppy and want to talk to someone who has experienced their adoption process before. The dogs they have are loved and well cared for and I openly question anyone who states otherwise. I wonder if this person actually got a puppy from Valhalla Valley Farms...

I bought my labradoodle, Banks, from this breeder just this past summer. Not only were they incredibly kind, they were very up front with their breading methods. The parents of my dog seemed in very good health, and showed no signs of abuse. I purchased Banks just before the floods hit here in Cedar Rapids this summer. Due to the re-routing of major highways, I was unable to make the drive to pickup my puppy on the scheduled date. The wonderful people at Valhalla Valley Farms went out of there way and brought Banks to me. Does that sound like someone who does not care? Further, my puppy is just about to turn 7 months, and ask anyone who has met him; he is the kindest, gentlest dog you will ever meet. He is a wonderful addition to our family, and has shown no sign of poor breading. It is a shame that someone would say something so terrible about people who clearly care a great deal about their dogs, past and present. Brooke at Valhalla Valley Farms has kept in contact with us through email and phone calls. If she was just out to turn a profit by exploiting her dogs, why would she bother checking in to see how our dog is doing? She clearly loves these animals. I would like the person who submitted the negative comment to come forward and explain them. Did you even buy a dog from Valhalla Valley Farms? Or, most likely, are just carrying a grudge about something totally unrelated? I love my dog with my whole being, and I cannot thank Brooke, and everyon else at Valhalla Valley Farms, enough for bringing him into my life. They are great people and great breaders.

Our puppies and dogs are in the best of health and are taken to the vet on regular visits. We breed our females only once per year, if that often. We retire our females before the age of five and to excellent homes. We are the farthest thing from a puppy mill you will ever come across. We have five breeding females and two males. I challenge the person writing this ad to contact me so I can let you know what we are doing here. I have 2 labradoodle puppies from this breeder that are now 2 years old. they are loved healthy and happy members of our family. I would be lost without them. You have provided no evidence for your negative comment. I suggest you provide evidence of your comment since you have no basis for your complaint
