I had a client purchase a horse and hired Leigh when found through uShip.com. The horse was to be picked up at my place on Tuesday am at 530. Monday I asked that the shipper could call me to confirm timing, as I do not live at the farm and needed to not only go to the farm but pick the horse up to meet her because of the size of the rig. By 4:00 am on Tuesday I still had not heard from her (I called her and text her the evening prior). By 450am I had text her to confirm times. By 510 there was still no response so I began calling. Radio silence. I called the trainer of the client, in Tennessee and expressed the lack of communication. At which time she also tried to call and text Leigh to no avail. It was not until 532 either of us heard from her. She claimed she would call in 20 minutes (never did). She told the trainer that she had a hard loader and couldn't communicate with us because she was holding it and trying to get a vet to come tranquilize it. We understand things happen, but it takes ten seconds to send a text message or phone call.

Later Leigh claimed this horse was at her farm, in North Whales Pa. which is approx an hour from my farm. Now for her to be on time she would've had to have been loading this horse around 4:15-430 am. We are supposed to believe she couldn't take ten seconds to MAKE A PHONE CALL saying you're late? Ridiculous. Her website claims "Keeping in touch with our clients is one of our main goals. With the beauty of technology helping out, it is easy to be transparent and keep you appraised of current conditions throughout the trip. " Which is the complete opposite of what we've encountered. At this point, I had another commitment and had to continue on with my day. When we asked what time she would be arriving we got ZERO response from her. She later text me and told me to call her when I was done with that. Both myself and the client started asking around and doing more research and found that she had done this to three individuals alone that I knew and I was able to find a rip off report from just a few days earlier detailing their also horrible experience! We had decided to move on and look for another shipper at this point since the communication was lacking and there was no schedule set forth. When Leigh saw I had made a post looking on Facebook she started blowing up our phones with calls and text messages. Overall, a disappointing experience to say the least. Will not recommend to anyone.

I wish horses could talk, if they could, Leigh Griffith would be out of equine business already! [email protected]

Horse owners, horse riders and horse lovers, I’m going to gladly comment on the review that Leigh Griffith did about me.

This man is in our country illegally. (After she told me she come thru Tennessee quite often and for example I deserve my “A** whooped”, I gave her the chance to verify herself my “immigrant” status and gave her the opportunity to take an appointment to the local sheriff office where I did a complaint and to my disappointment she didn’t showed up yet, I guess she didn’t feel comfortable for some reasons) Refused to let us meet him at his farm had us meet him in a parking lot he was very shady (she told my wife that she had a “big rig” and couldn’t come to our place located in the Tennessee back wood, so I proposed to meet on the big parking lot across the road of the Monteagle Truck stop. She only had a Chevy 3500 single wheel in the back, not a dually truck and a two axles horse trailer. She was supposed to be there at 8:00 am. She finally answered my call 2 hours later and insisted for me to drive and meet her to another exit) and he was the one threatening me (On the first night she stated to be in Kentucky, she became silent and didn’t return text or call so I texted her the next day that she better contact me if not I will go to talk to the law. She considers the use of the law as a threat when she got your horse no telling where out of the way. She complained to my wife that the law was harassing her since, it was the only way to procced when she didn’t want to tell her location and I started to read review about her and her habits). His wife was very nice and scared to death of him. (My wife is nice, of course it's one of the reason I love her, but for the last 20 years my wife worked for the army and managed construction job site out of state in a masculine majority, she is not scared of no man, especially not her husband, we just celebrated our ten years wedding anniversary three weeks ago) His horse was delivered exactly when he was supposed to be after a layover in Kentucky. (56 hours for a 575 mile trip, claiming the horse was in a barn in Kentucky and refusing to send us picture of the horse in a stall, or location. The pictures she sent was always in the trailer and apparently as she stated been to Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland instead to go from Tennessee straight to North Carolina as she promised), Which is exactly what he was told. He does not speak good English (That right, I’m French and people around nicknamed me Frenchy because of my accent and as you can tell my orthography, grammar and conjugation isn’t perfect but apparently my wife like my accent anyway) and wanted his horse moved and wanted a deal on the move. (It’s my wife horse, she was contacted by Leigh Griffith from the website UShip.com and gave her the price because “she was going through there anyway to deliver another horse so she could do it for (her stated price)”, which was cheaper than anyone else. My wife made the contract herself, but working out of state, she asked me to meet that transporter somewhere where it was easy for a “big rig” to maneuver as the transporter requested. Please check yourself on Uship.com, today I copied and pasted from the website: “ATTENTION! * This member is currently suspended from the site. Please contact Member Support if you have questions.” looks like she is not trusted anymore in the professionnal equine transport). The feed was not soaked in diesel it was wet from the water bucket his horse continued to flip over in the horse trailer. (Barrik is the name of that Friesian, he is really sweet, a piece of candy and Leigh Griffith told me she was amazed how he loaded in the trailer so easy and told my wife that he was a “sweetheart”, maybe he got mad for a reason being 56 hours locked up in a horse trailer! We know the water excuse isn’t true, but if it was, how professional is that for a supposed professional horse transporter to put the feed where it can get wet! I been told by the new owner husband who received the horse that the feed bag was setting in the back of the pickup truck in a puddle of diesel) And we do not grain horses on the road ever. It could make them sick. (She told my wife that she fed grain and apples, which my wife was mad about because she did not ask about first, during the trip and she claimed the horse spent every night in a barn but the feed bag wasn’t opened). They get all the hay they can eat. (I seen a half bale of hay in the trailer when I loaded the horse, seem very little for that big horse and the pony in the back stall) And all the fresh water they can drink. His horse arrived in excellent health (she bragged about the health of the horse so much that I started to do research on what lucrative activity she can do who involve the horse health) This man is upset because I called the Tennessee sheriff after he threatened me repeatedly on the phone.(As far as I know the only time she been in contact with the police department is when they called her on my request and then she called my wife while she was working and cussed her out for me using the law on her) Demanding that I deliver his horse before my other horses on the truck. (after that deputy who is a horse rider himself read the contract and realized that something was wrong because she was late and far out of the original trip, told her that she had until next day to deliver the horse. Amazingly she delivered the horse next day by 10:30 PM and the new horse owner being at work had to send her husband who bless his heart was in poor health and had to deal with that stuff because of the gravity of the situation) He is insane and the Sheriff’s office in Tennessee can verify that. (Please do! It will be my pleasure) And we do not ship drugs or borrow horses for blood?? (I didn’t do no accusation but supposition. I did some researches about what could be so lucrative for her to take so much risk especially when I started to read several awful reviews about Leigh Griffith Valley View Transport and I was in the same situation that other people she deals with before. I begged her to tell me where she was with the horse so that I could come get him but she refused, so my only choice was to go to the sheriff office) That's insane and I have never heard of that. (Just google “horse blood” and see what some people are able to do for money) His wife was in contact with me the whole time and she told him to leave us alone while shipping. (Just read my wife review on Ripoff Report and see for yourself, she was scared that after I contacted the sheriff something would happen to her horse realizing how much Leigh Griffith was a crazy person. Just search “Valley View Transport Fraud”)

Horse owners, horse riders and horse lovers, I do not push you to believe me, just use your heart, common sense, logic and other reports to make your own opinion of Leigh Griffith, Valley View Equine Transport.

While the horse was shipped/kept in an unknown location I did some researches and discovered Ripoff Report and seen other reviews about Leigh Griffith, I decided to post my experience with her and she just contacted my wife recently and threatened her to sue us again (she threatened my wife, the new owner and her husband as well during the shipping numerous times).

I’m not scared of her threats as physical (to whoop my A**), as personal (for what she insinuate about me and my wife relationship), and as well as legally because to my opinion she will have trouble to find and fool an attorney especially when she uses a non-authorized USDOT number, do not have a bank account for her transactions because she claims her account been hacked and tried her best to be paid cash (being out of state my wife said she couldn’t paid cash and the transaction finally been done thru PayPal)

I didn’t stay anonymous because as the saying goes: only truth hurts. I’m proud to say it and it’s why she is mad. Her lies are constant but not consistent.

I’m horrified by the fact that many peoples had the same awful experience with her.

If you had this kind of problems with Leigh Griffith and you want to stay anonymous, I understand, she is really aggressive and her madness is insane but you can send comments at: [email protected]

I had an experience with that lady My wife is working on a review. We will post it in a few days. It's important to notify every detail. She got a pattern, she "borrow" horses, disappear for a few days and cross many states . I can tell that she is super nice until she get your horse. That experience with her make me discover some of her evil action . She is bipolar, really aggressive, and suffer from mythomania (pathological lying). After I had the local sheriff office to contact her (they claim that they can't do nothing when she cross state line) see complained that the police is harrassing her. There's only one kind of people who can feel harassed by the police: outlaw!!! She uses that transport business to cover illegal activities (us dot 2920057 not authorized). I do not want to make no accusations, I'm just trying to understand why she take so much risks. Big money got to be involved! She might use the transport business as a cover to move drugs for example. She didn't feed our horse in 56 hours (feed bag soak in diesel fuel). I discovered somethings about "horse blood farm industry ". It's new for me, but evidently horse blood is in high demand for differents use. Amazingly before blood transfusion or blood donation it's highly recommended to have an empty stomach. The risks she takes have to be lucrative. The trip was supposed to be 575 miles from Tennessee to North Carolina. Instead she claims (hard to trust her word but) to travel to Alabama, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia. The trailer spare tire was busted, one of the valve steam leaking and her "employee" ( I guess) have no idea how much psi take the trailer tire. Also he cannot back a trailer ( surprising for a professional transport company) I don't know what she is up too, but it have to be big. After I sent that review she might threaten me again to send somebody to "whoop my A.."(I kept all the threat she sent me) Usely what comes out of her mouth is a lye but I told her she was right for one thing only: I'm going to go to hell. It's what it will take for me to find her and stop her . Please contact me if you had the same pitiful experience.

Was just wondering after coming across this ripoff report, how many others have had problems with Leigh Griffith as well. I had also heard recently where Leigh Griffith has also been involved with other illegal activities in the horse industry, has anyone else had this problem or similar problems? Would love to hear more info.

Just found out she isn't even legal...
