Valvoline Instant Oil Change Charged too much, messed it up the first time, then when i went to get it fixed, the location had closed, so went to another location where they bent my hood latch Mansfield Ohio
Don't make the mistake I made---by going to Valvoline Instant Oil Change because Wal-Mart and Pep Boys were busy. I went to the Park Avenue West Mansfield, Ohio location first and after they did a crappy job changing my oil and charging me $89.99 for a battery thats probably $60 at Wal-Mart, but I went for it because wal-mart was busy and had an important trip coming up soon. Anyways the 4th st. location forgot to reset my oil change light so I tried to go back and have them fix it but they got closed down so I had to go to this one to have them reset it for me. While I was there, the stupid girl(s) managed to bend my hood latch such that my hood wouldn't shut. They fumbled around and banged around for about 20 minutes. The "manager" explained to me that it was because my hood cable was old and bent and that's why my hood wouldn't shut. Funny, because my car had ~40K miles and probably had the hood opened 15 times in its life.
Anyways, when I took it to a repair shop, the guy said my cable was fine, the hood latch had been bent. I called up Valvoline corporate and reported the problem and actually got to speak with the districk manager, Nick Allen (614) 236-0483. He said to get a quote, and I thought they were going to make it right. I called him several times and he never called me back to take care of it. These guys are crooked. They charge too much, and the girls at the 1439 Ashland Rd Mansfield, Ohio location are completely incompetent. I won't go back to get an oil change from Valvoline again!!!
