vonda, in Warner Robins GA. Yes I believe that they are charging us with another insurance. We started out with a payment of 345.0 now after severl times of going up we are at 401.18. So that tells me that they are charging us with another insurance and I am fighting back. I am going to email the attorney general and I am getting hold of our congressman and then we will see who is the bad person. I am sorry for you that you are having to put up with them but fight for your rights. We have lived here for 7 years and they are still giving us a run for our money so to speak. LOL

vanderbilt financed owned by citifinancial who also owned the finance company that sold your loan to vanderbilt. the reason for this was because all the other finance companys were sued and lost badly. they were sued for packing loans and adding credit life premiums and other finance charges to custmers loans. then trained to lie to the customer and try and confince them that they were not doing this. ihave all kinds of evedince proving that i was being charged for credit life insurance but there was never a policy written in my husbands name for the insurance they added to my loan. i also found out that the loan i had was different than the one assocaites had on file. it was done the next day at there office . where not only did they redo the contract with out our knowing about but also treated us rudely and said we were crazy for calling all the time wanting to know why we kept asking about insurance that was not even on our loan. that we were not paying for insurance. but to find out after 7 years of calling and being talk to so badley. my calling paid off i got a new employee who told me the truth. but once they realized what he was telling me they cut him off. but he was kind enough to send me a copy of the loan that associates did with out our knowing about it. not only did they redo the loan they added a total of 16,658.00 in insurance to the loan. but found out that they financed a 56,000.00 loan at 68,000.00 dollars this amount included the down payment and a 3,695.00 premium for insurace. the other part of the insurance we were charged for they tried to hide it in the finace charge. so i know how you feel because there is more. you need to call the ftc ,georgia department of banking & finance & the insurance commissioner of georgia to file complaints. i have filed complaints with all these agenies and i have been to see the governor aissiant. they want to help but they need more complaints filed as it stands i will ened paying 239,187.00 for a 20 by 80 manufactured home. because no attorneys will help us because it is to costley to fight these finance companies unless you have enough people to file a class action suet somthing needs to be done to stop them.
