I bought a used vehicle a few days ago from them. They claimed to do a 100 point inspection by a certified mechanic. I live 40 miles from the dealership. While I was there they talked me into the extra warranty even though my vehicle had a little time left on the factory warranty. I paid $1700 for this "full coverage" extended warranty.

When I got home my wife was smelling antifreeze. I told her it had to be from the chemicals they used to steam clean the engine. A few days later I smelled the same smell. I called the dealership and they scheduled me for warranty repair 2 weeks later.

I went up to the dealership and they sent me to the Chevy dealer from the acura dealer to handle it. I was told there is a small leak on my radiator and they must have "missed" it in their 100 pt inspection. They then told me this $1700 warranty does not even cover this and I pretty much wasted my money. I called back told them to Refund my warranty and they said the warranty can't even be used until after the first month. I was then told I'd have to contact my finance company would have to refund the warranty not them. So the big passing the buck game starts.

I then called back and all they could was say sorry but they wouldn't make this right. Keep in mind I had this car for 2 weeks and 3 days at this point, have not made my first payment, received a letter from my finance company wanting me to sign a new contract because there was errors on the original, and they are already dishonoring my warranty. I've looked at my paperwork and I see no time limits on the warranty to begin using. I see a mileage cap when it expires and I am far from that.

I'm sure this has happened to other people maybe not exactly the same. But don't trust them and don't trust their over priced warranties either. They will not make it right. So I have a nearly new vehicle with a damaged radiator in triple degree heat wave in Texas and I have to spend $500 out of pocket for a new radiator. It is crazy for a car I have had less than 3 weeks and purchased a warranty on. I also told them the next day we smelled anti freeze after buying it and they blew me off.

This is also not a case of you get what you pay for because I'm paying a lot plus a lot more for a warranty and I'm getting nothing but trouble. The factory warranty covers power train. This was not an as is car.
