Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Vasa is literally stealing money from me. My wife and I signed up to join Vasa in January of this year. We were asked if we would also like personal training. We did want training but told them we would not be able to start training for 60-90 days due to our business workload at the time. We were told that would be fine as our account would just accrue a balance that we could use for training once we began. We decided to sign up for personal training to begin a few months after. Unfortunately by the time we could begin training the Covid19 virus was in full swing and shortly after Vasa had closed the gym.

We tried for 2 months to reach someone with no response outside of an email sent to all members that gym dues would be put on hold. When Vasa finally opened back up I stopped in to talk to someone and they said it would be cancelled. That never happened so we tried again to reach someone to help with our contract. Paramount Acceptance is a 3rd party that Vasa outsources their contracts too. Someone from Paramount called us back and told us we could not cancel but they would delay billing for 3 more months while the Covid19 mandates were in place. In October Vasa began billing us again for training that we cannot use.

We came to the gym 1 time recently and did not feel that anyone was following the mask and covid guidelines. Some people were not wearing them. Nobody was wiping down equipment after using it. We don't feel Vasa is a Covid Free environment and the governor just increased the warnings to stage 3 as cases surge. Paramount is telling us we have to continue paying for training because the gym is open. So basically they are telling us to disregard all covid health precautions and mandates so they can keep getting paid. I feel this is completely unethical and putting people at risk that choose not to go to the gym.

We followed up with a BBB report and Vasa cancelled our training but kept $1800 of unused training credits!! We are now in a code red shutdown due to Covid. Vasa is still refusing to refund. Where are the ethics with this company?
