We placed a deposit on an Electro Freeze ice cream machine, sight unseen in good faith in September 2021. As soon as travel restrictions were lifted (COVID) we travelled to Poland during a pandemic to meet the principle of Vegagastro and view the machine. Our observations whilst in Poland were:
· The CEO of Vegagastro did not turn up to our first two meetings (we could manage to turn up from Australia).
· In (Vegagastros) Slupsk showroom the Electro Freeze machines on display and in rear storeroom were both faulty. We were explained to us that the flow level monitors never work as they break once shipped from the factory in the US, it happens with all the Electro Freeze machines we were told.
· As Electro Freeze machines have a manufacturing defect, they are not suitable for our business.
· On return to Sydney, February 2022 we followed up the concerns of the issue of the defective flow sensors with an email to Vegagastro and to the US parent company (Electro Freeze). Please note these emails were not responded to (this confirmed the fault must be true) and the emails
We have informed Vegagastro and Electro Freeze the machine you know to be defective, and we have protections under Australian Consumer Law, in which we are legally entitled to a full refund.
As Electro Freeze has a good standing we reached out to the President of Elctro Freeze. He did not want to help up. We have lost a lot of money and no one from Vegagastro or Electrofreeze seems to care. I would not recomment dealing with either of these companies. They will take your money and if you have any problems you might find yourself like us! Stay away.

My comments about Vegagastro are no longer valid. We have worked well together and all issues have been resolved with any staff and the company to my satifaction.
I truely appreciate Vegagastros efforts to resolve my concerns. Any negative comments I have made I would like to withdraw and I no longer have any complaints about them.
