 My son who is white was taken off of my account and branched to his own, with no deposit requried. I did the same for my daughter who is Black,and now they are telling me it's going to be $400. this is unfair business practices.

 There is no "Race" button or tab. It goes off of two factors. 1. Personal Credit. If your daughter has a poor credit rating then she will have to pay the deposit. Its not like Verizon is keeping the money. You get that deposit back in the form of a bill credit. 2. Area in which she resides. If she lives in a bad area that would effect her deposit.
