Verizon, Verizon Wireless Internet Verizon 4GLTE Wireless Internet nightmare not taking payments charging late fees Boston, Massachusetts
Aug 2012 I switched from Verizon standard internet to Verizon 4GLTE wireless internet I was really happy, on my old plan home phone/internet was $82 per month, home phone/wireless internet $92 a month. Sep 1 2012 paid them $92 online from my checking account which had never been a problem in the past
Almost 2 weeks later I get a notification by e mail that I was past due on my bill and owed them $140 with late fee 48 of it being a late fee checked my bank account they hadn't taken the payment, I made a second payment $90 with a credit card they took that
Trying to resolve the situation I sent them an e mail explaining the situation she said someone would look into it, a few days later I get a reply after checking into it I see you have a $140 balance please go to your online account click on payments and make payment arrangements.
Sent another e mail saying it was unfair I was being charged a late fee when it wasn't my fault, days later reply you have a balance of $140 make payment arrangements. Calling them is pointless got put on hold cut off etc every local Verizon business office I called this is a non working Verizon number.
All I get is bills by e mail and in the mail your past due to protect your credit pay $140, next bill $180, last one I got was $200 and going up. Fed up I paid the $175 contract cancellation fee which I sent by registered mail. Still they are demanding even more money I am not giving them another dime
