this is my story from attempting to cancel my verizon wireless services
I had several lines with Verizon, ( business lines and personal ) My monthly bill was around $800 a month, which is just too high, so I decided to switch carriers. I made the move to a new carrier for 1/2 the price. I cancelled with Verizon the next day. I cancelled all lines. I am the owner of my business and everything is in my name.
One month later I get a verizon bill - they want another $800 for the next month even though I cancelled? nothing was turned off and they blamed me and made excuses. Once again I have to call and go through much aggrevation to get to a simple cancel solution.
Two months later - another bill - are you kidding me? after two angry conversations they still have not closed my accounts? none of them? and want another $800 for service? More arguing, more anger and again they are supposed to cancel my accounts.
Three months later - guess what? YUP another F_^%!! bill from verizon and they want another F%$*!!!! $800 ????
Are you kidding me? I just keep getting the run arround and lied to and they threaten my credit if I dont pay?

One thing you failed to mention was what did you do with your Verizon Numbers?
Most people would not want to go through the issues of changing their personal numbers, let alone business numbers. If for no other reason but to not possibly lose contact with people who have the old number. Yet you didn't mention anything about switching them or having issues switching them?
Figuring when you switched and got new phones, what happend to the old phones?
You also failed to mention HOW you tried to cancel? Did you call their cancellation department? Did you physically go into a store?
