There is a site up and running to help those who believe or are curious to find out if Verizon Wireless is making errors on your bill that are costing you money. The address is verizonbillcalculator.com - this site is fully free and non profit, with the goal of helping out Verizon Wireless customers.

Simply count all the minutes from the calls that are made at PEAK time and do not include anything about IN calling. ---------------------- EXAMPLE... --------------------- Count the minutes from the lines that look like these. >> 5/28 10:14A 231-555-1234 Peak PlanAllow Muskegon MI Incoming CL 1 -- -- -- >> 5/29 2:03P 000-000-0086 Peak PlanAllow,CallVM Muskegon MI Voice Mail CL 4 -- -- -- >> 5/30 8:20P 777-000-0001 Peak PlanAllow,Data Muskegon MI Data CL 3 -- -- -- >> 5/30 8:30P 411-000-0000 Peak PlanAllow Muskegon MI 411connect 2 -- 1.49 1.49 There's a total of 10 minutes here. --------------------- Don't count any that look like these... ------------------- >> 5/27 11:14A 231-555-1234 Off-Peak IN Allow Muskegon MI Mobile CL 2 -- -- -- >> 5/31 8:09A 231-555-1234 Peak IN Allow Muskegon MI Incoming CL 2 -- -- -- >> 5/29 10:01P 269-555-1234 Off-Peak PromoAllow Muskegon MI Kalamazoo MI 2 -- -- -- >> 5/30 10:21P 000-000-0086 Off-Peak PromoAllow,CallVM Muskegon MI Voice Mail CL 2 -- -- -- I didn't include all of the examples possible but as you can see, if the RATE column has the words "Off-Peak" and the USAGE TYPE column contains the word "IN" (standing for IN calls) you won't count those minutes. Also if it is a PEAK call but contains "IN" in the USAGE TYPE column, you would not count these minutes either. ------------- Hopefully this will help you out... If any one notices any thing I may have missed in this write up please let me know.
