Verizon wireless Another erroneous charge; this time for data Internet, Internet
Verizon was at it again last year. I was going to let it go, but in retrospect the timing was awful. My mother had recently died and after three different phone calls, with no recourse, I gave up. Early last year I received an extra charge for what showed to be "data" on my bill. (Since the previous fiasco of them billing for premium texts I had that disabled on all phones.) The phone representative claimed I went over on our minutes, though I disagreed due to perusing the bill online. The bill showed the charge as "data". Anyway I gave up. Since then I have come across other people that have received similar charges from time to time, but do nothing. If Verizon can pull this off and hit just 10% of their 104 million customers annually with this kind of erroneous charge it adds up to over $34 million for no services provided. Where is the integrity in this country?
