i signed up for a 2 yr contract with verizon wireless in march of 2014. I purchased a brand new LG G2 cell phone.
3 weeks into the contract the phone starte to overheat and drain my battery in less then 2 hrs when i was never using it. I called verizon they sent me out a CPO G2 1 week later i got the phone , i plugged it in, after it was fully charged i unplugged it again, placed it next to my bed , I had set my alarm to wake me i woke up bt without a alarm, i noticed the phone was completely dead and hotter then heck. i called verizon again they sent me out phone 2 this time the phone was cracked so i sent it back, they sent me out phone 3 it worked for a good 2 weeks and again the phone was over heating, battery life drained, apps not responding including text messages.
again i called verizon now i am furious cause i needed my phone for work, they sent me out phone #4 it worked for a few weeks, then all of a sudden text messages stopped, phone was getting to the point it was going to melt, the battery went from 100% to 30 % in less then a hr. I called verizon again spent 3 hrs on the phone with them, they did not know what was happening. they told me to do a factory reset so i did as i was doing a factory reset i noticed on the net that there was a bug on the KIT KAT 4.4.2 I immediately called verizon after the factory reset spent another 2 hours on the phone with a rep who said oh since this will be your 5th phone we will do this as a 1 time favor and put you in a diff make n model phone. total of 5 hours was spent on the phone this am with a rep they could not place me in a diff make n model and said oh i am sorry there is nothing we can do.
I get a message saying they had fed exed a CPO G2 to me again. WTF!!! Does verizon NOT UNDERSTAND that the 4.4.2 OS is burning the phone up and destroying it?? So tonight as i am watching tv i notice my phone was at 88% i go to get dinner and come back and my phone is at 54%. My wifi is off, google is off, locations is off, batteryt saver is on and m display is at 25%.
Verizon does not care about its customers all they want is our money. I need a working phone not a POS that is going to keep burning up and i should not have to go thru 5 phones in less then 3 months.
