Vertical Search Works Michael Salzman Power Tripping, Self Centered Scum Bags New York, New York
Vertical Search Works is a great company, they run business honestly and efficiently. I must say that the other complaints on this site about them are ridiculous and false,.... clearly from employees that were let go. Not for a second would I think to mess their name up. However, there are two employees within the company that are extremely detrimental to that great name and service that the company provides.
Marlon Hill is a self centered dirt bag. From my knowledge, he is a manager of a team of sales representatives. This is ridiculous because he can't manage anything or anyone. He is completely self centered, causes controversy in any way he can and only cares about himself. He manages his reps like they are complete dirt. He is only out for himself and doesn't teach anyone anything useful and thinks he has way more power than he does. He isn't doing anything good for this company. He is extremely cocky and thinks he is better than everyone else when in reality.... he is an awful sales person and barely scrapes by. HMost of the company, including most of upper management HATE him.
Michael Salzman is a new employee. He is the svp of sales for a team of senior sales people. If you looked up the phrase "power trip" in the dictionary, it wouldn't surprise me to see a picture of his disgusting smirk right next to it. He treats people like trash, doesn't help or teach anyone anything. He is selfish and self centered to the highest degree. He isn't a nice individual. Has never introduced himself to 90% of the employees in the company because in his eyes, they are "lower than him." Since his hire, hes done literally NOTHING except bring some of his friends in on the company's salary and sit around and bs with anyone who will tolerate the crap that comes out of his mouth. He has everyone brainwashed that he is a good sales person with a ton of contacts but in reality... he hasn't done ONE thing to prove himself. He has actually done ONE thing.... he brought a LAWSUIT to the company. His previous employer, adMarketplace, is suing vertical search works for something involving stealing of contacts and employees. So, all in all, everyone hates him, he has upper management brainwashed into thinking he can do good for the company, he isn't a nice person, he does absolutely NOTHING that will help the company or anyone in it, he has a salary that is way to high, he has only COST the company money in lawyer fees and probably ruined their name for no reason.
If anyone is called by Vertical Search Works, it is a legitimate company. They have an amazing product and do business honestly. They just have two AWFUL employees. If you hear the names Marlon Hill or Michael Salzman... do yourself a favor and steer clear. The company should let these two fools go for their own good and for the happiness and well being of their employees.

Vertical Search Works, Inc. (“VSW”) commenced a lawsuit against you to remedy acts of commercial disparagement, false statements, and misrepresentations caused by your malicious disparagement of VSW. Vertical Search Works, Inc. v. John Does, I-10, CV2013-053176, Maricopa County, State of Arizona. VSW served a subpoena on Xcentric Ventures, LLC to discover your true identity. Once your true identity is discovered, VSW will amend its complaint pending in Maricopa County to include you as a named defendant.
