ViaSat Wild Blue Internet ViaSat/Wild Blue does not function as a daily internet provider. Service is HORRIBLE. They lied to me about the services they suport Internet
ViaSat is absolutely the work interest company I have experienced I was tired of Time Warner. The equipement was malfunctioning all the time. I changed to Direct TV that informed me thatfor my area ViaSat was the internest provider we had to use.
From day one the internet barely functioned. Service was sporatic and down most of the time. My pandora music would start and stop every 10 seconds during songs. the computers wouls loose service every hour. The worst thing of all is the Sales Team at ViaSat lied to me while I was investigating their service.
My son plays Xbox Live and I was told by the Sales Rep that they supported all games systems. I even had a discussion with them abou the games my son likes to play..All false lies. You cannot access live gaming on any system through ViaSat..I was told later that they made a mistake. I asked to cancel the service within a week of having it due to no performance, the lying and of course the bill was not what they quoted.
I agreed to first have a techn come out. I scheduled the time, took the day off, waited and they NEVER showed up. The ViaSat Rep hung up on me twice while trying to ask what happend. I called to cancel again and was told I still needed to pay the $350 cancel fee. So now I have my sone angry, an internet that does not work, no music-video and no abilit yto do my work from home. I'll most likely have to pay the $350 to get out of this..AWEFUL EXPERIENCE

There is no such thing as "gaming compatible" Internet service--only the speeds involved.
As long as the gaming system is Internet ready, and you have high enough up & down speeds--you can play online games.
