I bought a system from them via an internet order on 6/14/00. The credit card was charged immediately and I received a monitor about 2 weeks later. Then nothing, for weeks and weeks, nothing. Multiple calls were made which, as far as I'm concerned, landed on deaf ears concerning the whereabouts of my system. At the 9 week point, I canceled the order. That was on 8/21/00. I immediately shipped the monitor back to them and I have record that they received it on 8/28/00. It is now 9/20/00 and I still have not recieved my $1999 refund. I have called several more times to inqure about the refund and all the "customer service" representative would ever say is "I'll have to put another request in to accounting and it will be another 7-10 days." WRONG! I had them tell me that on 3 occasions and not 1 refund request has been filled. So on one phone conversation I demanded to talk to someone in accounting or a supervisor - they flatly refused to transfer my call to either. They just tell me that they'll have accounting call ME. That never happened. So now, 3 months into this fiasco, I have nothing - they have my fully paid $1999 and as far as I can tell, they have no intention of giving it back. I have turned them in to my MasterCard company and the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection as of today. I was referred to the latter by the Eastern PA BBB, which told me that the influx of complaints against them was so great that they were no longer handling them. This situation seems so helpless! Here I am a 25 year old young man trying to get started on my own in life and now, just like that, I may be out $2000. I wish I had found these websites BEFORE I placed my order. To those of you who have not yet ordered, heed my warning - go somewhere reputable to buy your system. It may cost more than these imaginary deals, but you will at least get a computer system.
