Video Professor ripoff 10 day free trial When does it really start before fraudently charge you? Denver Colorado
September 3,2005 I was talked into trying a 10 day free trial computer program from Video Professor. I was told it would take up to five to seven days for me to recieve the software. I agreed to send one cd back after the 10 day trial and keep the two for free. If I did not return any of them my charge card would be charge for $79.00. I reassured I woul be returning one because of my limited income I could not afford $79.00 for software.
I waited for this software, had actually forgotten about them until I recieved two pkgs concurant with each other on September 17,2005 I did not have the oppurtunity to take advantage of the 10 day free trial before I found myself being charged for the $79.00 and overdrafting fees on my bank account.
I called the company to ask them to fax a letter to my bank asking them to take a hold off of the $79.00, according to the directions my bank told me to do. The company told me they could not do that but they could offer me a free set of software since I was already charged. I was very displeased since this will cause a great deal of hardship on my limited income.
This was the second time I was offered a free trial for a certain period of time and the time was dishonest and a ripoff that caused a great deal of financial stress on me.
I would never take advantage of a Free Trial period from this company again. Their customer service was not helpful at all and this time I decided I am tired of being ripped off.
