VIP Travel Reservations Travel reservations rip-off. Took our $75.00 fee and will not return it or reply to numerous letters. Port Orange Florida
Attended a vacation presentation and received forms to send in to receive a free 3 day, 2 night vacation. After receiving the forms to choose our vacation location and dates we decided not to take them up on their offer because of all of the hoop they wanted us to jump through with absolutely no assurance they we would get anything we wanted. I simply wrote them a nice letter asking that our $75 refundable deposit be returned to us. That was October 27, 2008.
Today is April 29, 2009 and we have have received nothing from them. I tried to call the phone number on the letter we received (386-252-2332 x 6) and got a recording then was put on hold (with me paying the long distance bill) but no one ever answered. I called again and when I tried to talk top a real person there was no way to do this. I did contact the Port Orange, Fl police via email to tell them that VIP Travel, Inc. was giving their city a bad name but have not heard from them either. Please do not send this company your money. You will never see it again.

You did request your refund and it is grossley overdue, we sincerly appologize with our only excuse being we are human and do make mistakes. I have made sure that your refund has went in the mail and for your records is check # 15223 and should arrive to you by early next weeks.
As for your phone calls, we are an extremly busy office and sometimes it can be challeging getting through to us, even once someone has sent you to the correct department. We'd also like to appologize in that aspect, in the future, we do return all phone calls if you would simply like to leave us a message.
Again I do sincerely appologize, it was never that we didn't want to return your money, it was truly just a mistake on our part. You should have your refund very shortly, and we again appologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.
