I bought a Virgin Mobile phone called the Samsung Intercept in December 2011. After buying it, the phone worked well for a few months, but then it started to crash randomly, restart, freeze, delete apps that I had downloaded, drop phone calls, delete all my pictures, and made my life miserable in general. I asked for a replacement phone and the company gave me it, but the same thing happened to this phone. I continued asking for replacement phones for a year, until I had gone through about 4-5 replacement phones. This is when I realized that the problem was with the phone itself and not the service. The platform was designed to fail. I went to check their website and saw many people complaining about this phone and I noticed that Virgin Mobile discontinued it as well. I told this to the company and asked for a different phone. I would not mind if it was cheaper than the phone I currently have, but it had to be at least a smart phone. the company told me they would see what they could do and again sent me the exact same phone. I kept complaining and finally my Virgin Mobile Account was deactivated by the company. The problems that this phone has caused me are immense. It caused problems in my academic life, it caused my problems within my relationships, and made my life miserable.
