  • NO restitution from Viridian.  In November, electric bill was higher than usual.  Have had same plans for approximately 4 years.  Call JCP & L was told it was weather related, meter reading.  


     


    In December, electric bill higher than before. Call JCP & L, was then advised that Viridian Energy was charging me 18 cents/minutes versus their 10 cents.  Contact Viridian and they say they will look into it and get back to me.  Call back was that YES, their current rate for THAT plan was 18 cents/minuts, but they would offer me new plan for 10.9 cents/minute; still higher than JCP & L.  Request cancel of Viridian to JCP & L, advised it will take one full billing cycle to change.  Then, get 1 phone call from Viridian (after I posted on their FaceBook page) told I would be eligible for restitution from Viridian, if I accepted a new plan.  Signed up with another company already, but was told I have 1 month to make final decision.  THEN, call Viridan about promised change/refund and was told, yes could change, but NO refund for overcharge.  Again, sales pitch.  So 3 months of overcharge...Amounted to almost $300.  NO REFUND....GOODBYE VIRIDIAN!!!  BIG RIPOFF. STAY AWAY!!!
