visible.net WebMarketingSource.com, Caputures.com, and Captures.com Pushy and threatening sales tactics Redmond Washington
We received email contact through the "contact us" form of our E-commerce website from a representative of visible.net named Candace. The email simply stated to please call her at a 425 area code and made no reference to being affiliated with a marketing company. Thinking it was a customer, we called the number in the email. Upon reaching Candace, she started to go through her sales speech and I simply hung up (if I had to listen to every person's sale's spiel, I wouldn't have time to get anything done. Also I was quite turned off by her dishonest tactic of getting me to call her). She then called back twice more, the first time I didn't pick up, the second time I picked up and hung up right away.
By the third phone call, I had had enough and answered. She told me that Google was about to kick us off the web, and I told her to go harass someone else and again hung up. About 5 minutes later I got an email saying that her company was successful, that she doesn't need my business but I need hers.' She then said that she was sorry that we were spending more than we were making (which she would have absolutely no way of knowing even if that were the case). Then she said she would let her 10k followers know about my customer service, which again, she has no idea about since she was not a customer, just a scammer posing as one. Incidentally, I looked them up on Facebook and Twitter and they have less than 1,300 followers between the two (What happened to 10k??)
This was craziest experience I've ever had with a company. I've never felt so harassed and threatened just for not wanting to use someone's services. Most companies are professional and show a little class, this one will apparently use whatever tactic necessary to bully you into utilizing their pseudo-expertise. The company is flagged across the web as a rip-off risk, DO NOT make the same mistake as countless others. If you're looking for a legitimate SEO marketing company, I would suggest HubSpot, and do your research regardless. I hope this helps some people.
