Marian is a very deceptive business owner.
She has a kind outward demeanor and extrapolates on how accommodating she is.
She will come to your home, tell you how she does extensive background checks before sending anyone out to clients' homes and even brought a caregiver with her for the client to ask questions of and get introduced.
Unfortunately, that caregiver did NOT have a completed background check - until THREE WEEKS into working for the client - AND SHE DIDN'T PASS!! She had a criminal record!
Then followed a stream of women who, either couldn't work the hours needed, or were infuriatingly incompetent!
She actually had problems finding anyone, because she had so few working for her!
The reason being, she takes advantage and abuses her employees (according to several caregiver statements)
One would leave the client to go read, play on her phone, eat the client's food and leave dirty dishes in the sink for the daytime caregiver to clean up! All while ignoring the client's excessive coughing and choking, during sleep!!
Or another, who wouldn't (or didn't know how to) clean up after the client, or herself!
With yet, another caregiver change, Marion had a week to notify her client about whether or not she had someone to cover an upcoming weekend shift, and she still hadn't said anything by the night before. The weekday caregiver even tried to get information, but was ignored for 2-3 days!.
The client gets yelled at by Marion for calling for information!
Marion yelled at the client using insulting and abusive language for disturbing her!
Avoid this business, and according to the complaints regarding other franchises, avoid Visiting Angels all together!
Luckily, there are other options.

How long did you suffer through this, "client after client" before you decided to give up? A little detective work shows that you're a scam artist.
