Lexus Dealer - Woodland Hills, CAVista Lexus - Bogus Coverage Woodland Hills California
At the time of signing our Lease Agreement, in the heat of our excitement in getting our Lexus, the financial service manager convinced us that Lexus has this fantastic coverage, called "Finishing Touch" which appeared in the column under Itemization of Gross Capitalized Cost! for $507.50. to our understanding they would apply a paint and interior protective coverage, before delivering the car to us same day, such that there would never be a interior stain or paint problem.
A few days later we looked through our agreement and wanted to see exactly what they had charged us. We called the above-referenced guy and asked for something in writing that explains exactly what we were sold, and how and when we can use it. He promised to fax the literature. He never did. We called again in a few weeks, again, he promised to fax, which never happened. We called and protested, again, he promised to fax, and never did. We called again and spoke to the salesperson, Willie, who promised to send it via fax, that never happened either.
I called Lexus Headquarters today and they explained that Lexus does not administer any Paint Protection Product, and that they will fax me what they have, which was in the copy of our agreement which they also had, and read "Century Finishing Touch" which the dealership pretended was a Lexus protection program, and purposely did not include the word "Century" in our agreement. We want our money back for the bogus coverage, they led us believe and trust to pay for. Not only that, they have capialized it into the total cost of vehicle which has been financed!!
