Vista Print offers "free" business cards for a shipping fee only. However, there are strings attached. Once they charge you for shipping via a credit card, they then enroll you without authorization into a program with an affiliate called MWI Businessmax. This is a recurring charge!

As far as I can tell, there is no product or service provided from MWI Businessmax. In essence you are billed 9.95 monthly for a program that provides nothing. If this wasn't insulting enough, you will start to receive large quantities of spam to your email as they obviously don't hesitate to pass that information to another "affliate" that resells emails.

Avoid this company at all costs. Dispute the charges with your bank ASAP, call the "customer service number of Vista Print and demand they stop billing you and return your money. My "free" business cards have cost me at least $60 of which I "may" hope to get some back. This co. is listed as a member of the BBB! Beware!

Thanks to Rip-Off reports for this one in particular. I received a bank charge of $12.95 today! (Hey, they're upping their prices!) After reading through customer responses, I called VistaPrint (as BusinessMaxx would never pick up) and demanded the refund of my $12.95. I didn't wait for their rebuttal, I didn't give them the chance to explain why it was there, I simply told them I was filing a charge with the BBB on the behalf of both VistaPrint and BusinessMaxx, would refute the charge if not credited, and was then put on hold for about 20 seconds. After returning to the line, I was told I'd receive an email confirmation and the charge would be credited with 72 hours. I let them know I'd take note of that in my report to the BBB. I've yet to receive an email confirmation, but all in all the matter was quickly resolved. Need to get in touch with VistaPrint? 1-800-721-6214, at the VRU punching zero's furiously with short patience....

I received a $9.95 from MWI BUSINESMAX. and received a partial refund from vistaprint.com. They were going to re-send the cards (the first set didn't look like the ones I ordered and were useless), I had designed but after waiting another month and another half dozen e-mails. They said there was a problem with the document and gave me the choice to do it again or get a refund. I got the refund, but only 80% because of the card holder, to which they didn't tell me how to send it back.

I too have been a victim of this company and MWI BUSINESMAX

I was glad to see the comments on Vista print on this site. I too have been a victim of this company and MWI BUSINESMAX. I, however could never find a number to call for Business max, so I emailed vistaprint who e-mailed me back that they would take care of the problem. They DID NOT DO SO. After getting the number for business max from your site, I called them. They cancelled my membership, but they still insist that I signed up for, and confirmed a membership. They will only reimburse me for one month of charges. I was insistent that this was not acceptable, as they owe me $50, not $10. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, the man, Brian #14812 told me that he would only refund $10 and that he was now terminating the call. He then hung-up on me. I have already contacted the bank re: this. Well see what happens. This is definately a legal way of stealing from people.

I called my bank when I received notice of a $9.95 charge to my account. They gave me the phone number 1 888-584-2217. For which I called and talked to Charlie #16871. He told me, he is cancelling my account and crediting my account. He did try to offer me some discount coupons, but I declined. This communications was done on 06/28/04. I hope to see a chargeback by 06/30/04. Thanks. Felix Hubbert. P.S. I have yet to be satisfied with the business cards VistaPrint.com sent me. They said they would send me another set, but it still hasn't shown-up.
