I went on VividSeats to purchase two $230 tickets to Hamilton at Boston Opera House.

I was presented with a 'finalise purchase page' for 2 tickets at $230 per ticket, then the website accepted my credit card information before taking me to the fourth and final step, which should have givn me a final total and breakdown of costs before agreeing to purchase.  When I clicked on the finalise purchase, expecting a 4th stage to pop up presenting me with a breakdown of costs, my card was charged immediately and I was sent an email receipt for $589, far above the cost I expected. I was never presented with this total and never agreed to pay a cost that was $120 more than I had expected. I never saw a page which presented a breakdown of service fees or taxes nor did I agree to my credit card being charged the amount of $589. When I called the company they lied and said that there was a breakdown of fees on the page. They outright and blatantly lied to me. This is shocking, criminal, fraudent and this company should not be allowed to get away with cheating customers like this. At no point was I given an option to review charges or warned about service fees and taxes and never agreed to $589. I agreed to buy two tickets for $230 expected a final invoice breakdown page to pop up before purchasing.

When I called the company they also told me that the purchase was final and I could not make any changes or refunds. They are preying on people by taking their credit card information before they agree to a total cost. I repeat again, I was not given a breakdown of costs and never agreed to the taxes and service charges nor was I aware of any taxes or service charges. VividSeats is a criminal company.
