Voyage Media Voyage media scammed my money and ruined my confidence as a writer Internet
Voyage media are a scam, pure and simple. I used their services believing that they would help me transition my manuscripts to film. And they indicated that my work would go into a magazine that is sent to hundreds of producers, and yet after three manuscripts, I still have no proof my work was represented in this way.
They tell you initially, that 75% of people that go through the process with them will find success. But they don't tell you the extent of this journey up front. Firstly they require a strategic assessment at the cost of approximately $1300 American dollars, and after this very negative report comes back (it is always going to be negative as you won't need their services if it isn't), they then hit you up for $6000 American dollars for them to get your writing over the line and they call this a 'treatment'. After that it's, 'how much can you put toward the script', and remember, every manuscript has to be turned into a script to be represented for film, and he calls this 'helping with the heavy lifting', and he is a very hard sell kind of person. He really pushes the parcel, but after the strategic assessment, when he tried to hit me up for the treatment, I decided to flush him out by writing my own mini-treatment for a half hour network comedy, which he earlier indicated was the holy grail of TV, but he didn't give this five minutes of his time, and when I complained and said 'no' to the treatment, he tried to back peddled and said that he ran it by a producer, but the timeframe for him to do this was about 5 minutes. Then he fudged it all with fake emails. I realize now he never had any intention of using my work and has ruined my confidence as a writer, as it was such a negative experience for me personally.
But ask yourself, if Nat Mundel has all these writers and producers at his disposal, and he has his finger on the pulse and knows what will sell in Hollywood, why does he want your writing? Why doesn't he write the material himself? The answer is, he doesn't, he wants your money for his own projects. End of story.
So, if I were you, and you are thinking of using Voyage media, I would run now, and get proper editorial services for your writing, as it will be cheaper in the end, because after the strategic assessments and treatment, etc, you still have no guarantee that someone will want your material.

After further communication with Voyage Media and my additional understanding as to its services and business processes, I wish to provide an update and retract all my prior allegations toward the company and its officers. I believe the company has now treated me fairly and my complaint has been resolved to my satisfaction
