East Side and West Side LANCASTER Wal Mart SuperCenters; Week of 6/3-6/10-15 Advertisements have many nicey priced Sale items which have been mailed to local residents from local store food chains were very attractive this week.  Bur for this Report, I will only talk about one main item which is very popular...............

Farmer John Bacon which is the best tasting bacon in the world and normally priced at the very least for $5.99 or higher is on sale this week in a competitor's store ad for 2 packs of Farmer John regular bacon for $6.00.  Yes, going for half the price at the present time.  So what do you think the "Leading Giant" does?  They place only the Maple flavored Farmer John and the Thick Cut bacon out in the designated area.

This is getting ridiculous that the wool is pulled over the repeating customers' who look towards actually doing a One Stop Shop with honoring Price Matching.  Is that legal to take certain normally high priced products off of the shelves, put only a minimum, or not stock with that product at all????

Well if your first report wasn't out there...this one sure is because now you added detail.

So again let's look at your claims with some actual logic.

First of all you claim that this bacon is a very popular item.  Okay, so do you know how many they sell in a regular day?  For the sake of this let's say they normally sell 100 packages a day.  Now, an ad comes out and is seen by say 10,000 people in the surrounding area.  Following me here...okay so now at basically a 2 for 1 sale, it would only take 50 people to get to the store before you to have the bacon sold out.  50...out of 10,000.  And I am not even including the people who have no idea about the other ad and would have bought the bacon anyways.

So now, tell me again which is more logical.  A store that intentionally decides not to sell items, spends extra labor hours taking off and then putting back the items to not make as much profit(because yes even at $3/package) they are not loosing money.  Or what you even admit is a popular product, is actually sold out by others who had the same idea as you...only they got there first.

As for the legallity.  Even on the off chance, they are deciding to not sell an item.  They have that right to sell or not sell what ever they want.

But you know what.  If you truly want to believe some conspiracy and think it is truly a RipOff, please go to one of the local News Stations.  Try Fox 11, NBC 4, ABC 7, CBS 2, or even something like the LA Times.  Because who knows, you may be able to see through all of their smoke screens and have discovered the biggest scam in history, and what news station wouldn't want to be a part of that.
