Wal Mart ripoff did not give oil change ripoff deception Richland Mississippi
On February 13, 2003 I dropped my car off at Wal-Mart for an oil change. An hour later I went to check to see if the oil change was completed, and the cashier said yes, therefore I went on and paid for an oil change.
On February 22, 2003, I was on vacation, therefore my sister used my car to go to work. When she got into my car she notice that the car was making a tapping noise, therefore she took it to the nearest mechanic shop. They checked the oil and said that there was only a drop of oil in the car and it was dirty, the air filter was dirty as well.
Therefore, without her knowing that I had already got an oil change, she also got an oil change that day. When she called and told me that she had just gotten an oil change, I told her that I did not need an oil change because I just got one from Wal-Mart a little over a week ago.
Once I return from my trip, I went to the mechanic shop and talked to the technicians that gave my oil change and they told me that there was no way in the world that Wal-Mart could have given me an oil change. For one thing there was not a sticker in the winsheild and the oil filter was not the brand that Wal-Mart use.
I then went to Wal-Mart to report to them that I did not receive a oil change and now my motor is gone in my car. They said that I should have brought the car back to them, but my sister did not know that I had an oil change at Wal-Mart. Since I did not bring the car back to them, the manager of the auto shop said that there was nothing that they could do.
After the oil change at the mechanic shop, my car continued to make the tapping noise, therefore I took it to a motor specialist and they told me that my motor was bad, and for not having a oil change could be the reason. So I am stuck with a car with no motor. Please do not take your car to Wal-Mart for any kind of auto repair.
