I purchased walmarts "family mobile" phone (by Tmobile). the employee assured me over & over again this is a no contract
all pre-paid phone and it was the better bargain. for other reasons I ended up returning the phone the next day, & without
any problem. But! its a month later now, and I get a bill in the mail from "Family Mobile" stating my sevice is suspended
and to re-establish service, I have to pay $72.30!
This letter has no web address on it, the only address it has is a PO Box, and I called the 800 number thats on the letter
But I couldnt talk to a real person, that wasnt even an option.

The terms and conditions of the service say that you can cancel at any time you have to call customer service and tell them to end service. Walmart does not do this for you. Whether you start service in store or go to familymobile.com you have to agree to it before it activates your line. Thats what ended up happening to you. You did not call and cancel the line and just brought your stuff back to return it.
#2 WFM is not a prepaid service. It is a no contract service. Whats the difference? You didn't pay for your month of service up front, the company texts you the balance owed with the account number at the end of every billing cycle. So if you only used the service 3 days before canceling then you are prorated for those 3 days (if you cancel correctly).
